George Ruben Rosales
George Ruben Rosales, 27, Springfield, died Friday, July 24, 2009, as a result of a swimming accident. He was born Feb. 27, 1982, at Presidio Army Hospital in San Francisco, CA.
George was previously a resident of Kearney and El Dorado Springs. He was an employee of Kenney-Hall Construction Company and loved music, animals and exotic pets. He enjoyed spending his free time with his friends and family, especially his grandfather.
Preceding George in death was his maternal grandmother, Darelyn Reeves.
George is survived by his mother, Georgiana Rosales – Kearney; his grandfather, George Reeves – Tiffin; his father and stepmother, Robert and Joanne Rosales – Walker; his grandmother, Sarah Rosales – Norwalk, CA; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins of California and Oregon; two stepbrothers and their families, Jason and Erika Thomas, Draysen and Bryleigh; and Matthew and Sherry Thomas and Leandra – all of Nevada; extended family in Bolivar and Long Lane; as well as numerous close friends.
Services were held Tuesday, July 28, in Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Interment followed in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were – Gerry Beckett, Kenny Riley, Alan Pendergrass, Glen Hinrichs, Jerry Stotts, Jason Thomas and Matthew Thomas. Honorary pallbearers were Mandi and Kraig Rea.
Gerogoy will always be missed by his family and freinds. He struggled with life for every day yet near the end made everything worth while.
He was to young to die but even in that short of life he made an impact.
You will always be missed Gerogy you are truly loved. May you rest in peace with God.
